Mom & Motion

Understand your baby.Support your body.Grow stronger together.

Understand what your baby is practicing, know what to adjust, and build strength for the carrying, lifting, feeding and floor time motherhood already asks of you - with simple routines designed for both of you.

Stronger together, without pressure.

Why Mom & Motion

Your baby is learning to move. Your body is doing the work too.

While your baby is learning to reach, roll, sit and move through the world, you are carrying, feeding, lifting, kneeling, getting down to the floor and getting back up.

Most guidance separates those two realities. Mom & Motion brings them into one practical approach - so supporting your baby’s development does not require putting your own body on hold.

Both bodies belong in the same routine.

Understand before you help

Learn what your baby may already be practicing, so you can respond with more confidence and less milestone anxiety.

Change the setup first

Use positioning, toy placement and the environment to create better opportunities before adding more physical help.

Let your body belong too

Use the same ordinary moments to build strength and mobility for the physical work motherhood already asks of you.

Shahar Ehrlich

Pediatric Occupational Therapist · movement & Pilates · mother

I was trained to watch how babies move. Motherhood made me notice the other body in the room too.

I'm Shahar, a pediatric occupational therapist with a background in Pilates, movement and rehabilitation.

For years, I learned to notice the small ways babies organize movement - how they reach, shift weight, roll, sit and eventually find their way upright.

Then I became a mother, and the other body in the room became impossible to ignore: the one carrying, feeding, lifting, kneeling, adapting and getting back up all day.

Mom & Motion grew from that shift.

Here, baby development and maternal movement are not separate subjects. I help you understand what your baby is practicing, create better opportunities for them to move, and support your own body in the same ordinary routines.

My rainbow baby arrived after a difficult loss in my first pregnancy, and it still feels like a win. Motherhood is deeply personal to me - and so is the work that grew from it.

In their words

What changes when you start seeing both bodies.

I finally felt like someone was speaking to both of us. Not only what my baby should be doing - but how I could be in it with her, without disappearing.
